Hopefull Homesteads is run by Brent and Mel, a husband-and-wife team based in Northwest Montana who believe in showing up, working hard, and helping where we can.
What started as helping family and friends with cleanup projects, errands, and everyday tasks slowly grew into something bigger. After experiencing firsthand how overwhelming life can get during difficult seasons, we realized how much of a difference simple, dependable help can make.
Today, Hopefull Homesteads focuses on the everyday things that often become hard to keep up with—home and property cleanup, yard care, errands, and companionship. Whether someone needs ongoing support or just an extra hand for a day, the goal is always the same: make life a little easier and take some weight off people’s shoulders.
At the end of the day, Hopefull Homesteads is simple: Reliable help from people who care.

Meet Brent
Brent is steady, reliable, and the kind of person who shows up and gets things done right.
After 30 years at a family-owned wholesale flooring company, he brings a strong work ethic, hands-on experience, and a no-nonsense approach to every job.
He’s always been someone people can count on—whether it’s tackling a tough project, figuring out a solution, or simply being there when help is needed.
When he’s not working, Brent enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and hanging out with his two cats.
Meet Mel
Mel has always been someone who sees potential in things—and finds a way to make them better.
She has a natural ability to organize, repurpose, and bring new life to spaces and items that might otherwise be overlooked. Whether it’s a cluttered room, or running errands, she’s the kind of person who rolls up her sleeves, keeps things easygoing, and makes people feel comfortable along the way.
Outside of work, Mel enjoys traveling to new places, hiking, and trying out new creative hobbies whenever she gets the chance.
Together, Brent and Mel combine practical skills, creative problem-solving, and a shared commitment to helping people—showing up, doing the work, and making things easier where they can.
